Psalm 119:105 – “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” The Christian life is a journey. It is wonderful to know that each day we can walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He leads us and guides us from day to day. He is our awesome Guide!

Our Visas

Praise the Lord! I have finally received my residence card for living in Spain. I am now legal! ☺ This first resident card is good for one year. Once one year has passed from the time I entered the country, I will have to renew the card. We have come back to the United States for a short time in order to pick up Deanna and Aaron’s visas. Once we return, Deanna and Aaron will begin the same process that I went through to get their resident cards. Lord willing, they will have their resident cards in 2 or 3 months. It is such a relief to finally have what we need to live in the country of Spain.

The Ministry

We are very excited about the opportunity to work with a team in Spain. Two other families will be joining us with in the next 3 years. Julio and Andrea Velasquez have been missionaries for 27 years. They have started churches in Europe and South America and have trained leaders who are serving around the world today. They are currently raising addition support and are praying to be in Spain by March of 2009. David and Favianna Velasquez are currently on deputation. David is a 3rd generation missionary and has had the privilege of working on the mission field for most of his life. Please pray for them as they prepare for the Country of Spain. With a team, more can be accomplished, the resources are greater, and each family can be a great encouragement to one another.

During our time here, we have been able to discuss many plans and ideas for the ministry in Spain. It has been exciting to talk about the things that God can do with a team who is dedicated to working together for His honor and Glory. We believe God can do a great work through his willing and faithful servants.

NEW CD

velasquez

As many of you now, my wife and her brother and sister have grown up singing in churches. God has blessed them with tremendous voices that they have been able to use for His honor and glory. Just last week, they were able to record their second CD. It is a CD in Spanish and I know it will be an incredible blessing to all of those who are able to hear it. The CD should be ready in a few weeks. You can go to www.alltheglory.org to hear samples and purchase a copy once it is released.

A Special Thanks!

My wife and I would like to take a moment to give a special thanks to all of our supporting churches, family, and friends. During our short stay, we have been able to fully understand the impact that the housing crisis, raising gas prices, and receding economy has had on the individual churches and families. We have heard countless stories of individuals who have lost their jobs and taken significant pay cuts because of the dire situation. So we want to say a special thank you to all of our supporters who have faithfully given, even during these abnormal times. We thank the Lord everyday that He provides for our needs so that His work can continue. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
