April 2007
Dear Supporting Churches, Friends, and Family
"Making Him Known!"
Psalms 105:1-2, " O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. The Lord has done so many wonderful things for us. May we continually give thanks to Him and make His name known among the people of the world.
Our Visas - Praise the Lord and Keep Praying!
God has tremendously blessed our support level giving us 85% of what we need to live and minister in the country of Spain. We have had many GREAT meetings and we believe that through the meetings we have already had God will bring in the remainder of our needed support. With that in mind, we are planning on leaving for Spain shortly after we receive our visas. In order to receive a visa for Spain, all the paperwork, etc. must be done stateside; meaning we must have an approved visa before leaving the country. WE RECEIVED WORD ABOUT 3 DAYS AGO THAT OUR FIRST APPLICATION TO THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE DEPARTMENT IN SPAIN HAS BEEN APPROVED. Now that we have been approved, we have an appointment with the Spanish Consulate in Miami at the end of April to submit all of our paperwork. After that, we will have to hurry up and wait for them to process our paperwork and give us our visas. Please pray for a speedy process.
March Madness 31 days of Prayer for Spain
During the month of March, we ran a prayer campaign asking Christians to take just a few moments a day and pray for the needs of Spain. Each day, we published a different prayer request on our website with many specific needs. We want to thank all of those who participated with us in praying for Spain. We had many people inform us that they were praying with us. We praise the Lord for already answering some of the prayers. If you would still like to pray for the needs of Spain, you can click here to download the prayer sheet. Thank you so much for your prayers.
Informational Video - We have a new video presentation!
God has given Deanna a great heritage. Deanna is a 3rd generation missionary and the majority of her extended family is serving God on the foreign field. God has providentially moved so that Deannas parents, Julio and Andrea Velasquez, and brother, David Velasquez, with his wife Favianna, will be coming to Spain where we will all be working together as a team. We are very excited about this and we believe God is going to do something great through our ministry team in Spain. You can view our ministry team video by clicking here. Thank you for your prayers!
