2 Corinthians 5:18, "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;"

God is the Creator and Author of our existence.  Not only has He created us, but He has also given us the privilege to know Him.  God has given us a divine purpose and a divine ministry to be a part of.  This ministry is not only for  Preachers, Missionaries, and Deacons, but it is for every born-again believer in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:18 tells us that God has reconciled us to Himself and He has given us the ministry of reconciliation.  In other words, God not only loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us, but now that He has saved us, He has given us a ministry to accomplish. That ministry is the ministry of sharing the Gospel with the world.

Our purpose is to fufill the mandate of the Great Commission that God has set forth in His Word. We want to be used in a great and mighty way that brings honor and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. May His purpose always be our purpose and may His will always be our will. "...nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done."
