June 2007 Prayerletter

Dear Supporting Churches, Friends, and Family

"THAT ALL MAY KNOW!"

The theme for our ministry is taken from I Samuel 17:46, "that all the earth may know that there is a God."  David stands before Goliath and proclaims a victory; such a victory that will spread across the lands that there is only one true and living God.  Our commission today is one and the same.  Through God's power, we can live our lives in such a way that the people around us know that there is a God! Every believer can be victorious in the workplace, classroom, ball game, wherever we are so that all the earth may know that there is a God!!!

Our Visas - Praise the Lord and Keep Praying!

God has tremendously blessed our support level giving us almost 90% of what we need to live and minister in the country of Spain.  God has given us some wonderful meetings and we praise Him for the churches that have taken us on. The last 5 churches we have been in have taken us on for support!  We give God the glory for this.  On April 30th, we were able to take all of our paperwork and present it to the Spanish Consulate in Miami. To our excitement, we had every needed document and item which made for a much smoother process.  Upon completion, the consulate told us that it would take approximately 3 to 3 months to process the paperwork and get the approval from the Spanish Government.  Once they have the approval, we will be able to go back to Miami and have the visas stamped in our passports and we will be ready to GO TO SPAIN!  Please pray that the process with go smoothly and even take less time then what they are telling us.

The Pueblo Project

The pueblo project is underway.  The Stark family and the Contreras family started the Pueblo Project in and around their city a few months ago.  There are so many cities and towns with 300, 500, 1000, people and no one going to these pueblos.  They often become overlooked.  The purpose of this project is to get the Gospel to the thousands of Pueblos in Spain.  One Saturday per month, the Stark and Contreras family will go into a pueblo and pass out an envelope with a gospel tract and a letter. The letter briefly explains who they are and who God is. Bible studies are offered at their homes, by e-mail or snail mail, if they prefer. They also offer free Bibles so the people can see the truths that God has for them. As the need comes, Bible study groups could be started or even a mission that could eventually form a church.   We are excited about the Pueblo Project and we look forward to physically being a part of it when we get to Spain.   Please visit our Pueblo Project page or The Starks webpage and click on Pueblo Project to learn more about this ministry and how you can be involved in reaching the Pueblo's of Spain for Christ!

Our biggest need!

We want to thank you for all of your prayers and support and we are humbled by the way God uses His people to be such a blessing to our family.  Right now, our biggest need is our passage and setup fund.  God has already given us a big percentage of our need and we praise Him for that.  We want to say a special thank you to the King's Way Baptist Church who gave $5,000 toward our passage and set up fund.  We need approximately $8,000 more to give us what we need to get started in Spain. We only have a few months left before we leave for Spain, but we know God will provide what is needed.  Thank you so much for your prayers and support!
