The dollar has weakened tremendously since we have arrived in Spain. This is a huge problem for the missionaries in Spain.Â
When we first arrived, the dollar was trading at 1.35 dollars to 1 Euro. In only 3 months, the exchange balloned to 1.49 dollars to 1 Euro and has slowly come back down to 1.44 dollars to one Euro. This means if a missionary comes with $4,000 of monthly support they will receive approximately $2,700 Euro to live on and start a church. This is a huge financial strain and is hindering many works around the country. Please pray for the Euro to go down.Â
