Dollar hits new low against the euro

Traders eye prospect of 'stagflation' in the U.S.

The euro flew past its previous high to hit $1.5238, before subsiding to $1.5194 late in New York. The euro topped $1.50 this week for the first time since being introduced in 1999 at $1.17, then surged above $1.51 after markets took comments from Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke as a sign that yet more U.S. rate cuts are on the way.

Many of you have been praying for my papers and we want to thank each of you for your continued prayers. Last Monday, we went to Madrid for another appointment concerning my paperwork. We had hopes that this meeting would move us forward in the direction that we needed to go. When we arrived at the building where our meeting was, things seemed to go a little smoother than normal.

Blevins.jpg There is an URGENT prayer request for a brother in Christ named Roger Blevins. Bro. Blevins was a missionary in Spain for many years and is now the South American Director for BIMI. He was driving home the other night and was hit by a drunk driver. He was air lifted to Atlanta Medical Center where he is in CRITICAL condition. He urgently needs the prayers of all of God's people.
